Make Videos (The Thing Everyone Wishes They Could Do)
Posted by: | CommentsIn the age of Youtube and other video sharing sites, people have noticed that if they make video, their sales can skyrocket. Many times, people have to outsource their video marketing needs because they do not know how easy making videos is.
When people think of video production, they think of all of the complicated software, the thousands of dollars they are going to have to spend, and the time it takes to complete the video. This doesn’t have to be true. There is inexpensive equipment, and it isn’t as difficult to use as one may think.
1. Cameras can come in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges. For video marketing, you do not need to spend a mint to get the top of the line camera. Canon makes some very nice consumer camcorders that do the trick. The HV30 is probably my favorite. The HV30 shoots HD video, and is very user friendly. It has automatic features that will help you make videos easily and pain free.
2. Graphics, although fancy and eye catching, do not need to made by you. There are numerous places where you can download motion graphics that make videos visually stunning. If you want to create your own graphics for your videos, Adobe After Effects is a very powerful tool, and there are tutorials all over the internet available for free to teach you some very nice graphics.
3. Editing Software is what you need to think about. If you are new to video production, Camtasia is a good fit for you. It allows you to record screen shots, voice overs, etc. It is very user friendly and very inexpensive. If you are more advanced Final Cut Pro or Avid are competing to be industry standard. These are very powerful programs, that pros are still learning about. If you are diving head first and fully immersing yourself into video production, One of these two programs might be what you are looking for.
There are many elements that go together to make video more effective. You need to figure out what your needs are, and find equipment to fit those needs. Video Marketing – The Unlocked Power of Video Marketing!
Posted by: | CommentsVideo marketing has become a well known and viable way to get people attracted to you and visit your website. So why should you get into video marketing? Well let’s break it down then shall we?
The unlocked power of video marketing!
- Social media websites, such as youtube, are visited more than one million times a day. That means that youtube alone, gets one million hits a day! These visitors watch videos almost all day, trying to find out some interesting information that they can listen to rather than read.
- Youtube alone gets one million views, but what about other social media websites? There are tons of them out there such as dailymotion, and they get just as much hits a day as youtube does. This possible amount of traffic is staggering and can increase your website traffic significantly.
- You don’t need to be steven speilberg. We’re not talking about a full fledged studio dedicated to your 3-5 minutes videos. We’re talking just a simple camera, web came, or computer cam with a microphone. This isn’t state of the art equipment people, and most of these products are free to get.
- Video marketing is absolutely free. You can submit as many videos as you want, in fact, I recommend that you do! The more videos that you create, the more successful you will become on youtube. Statistically, video marketers with a high amount of videos get more web traffic than video marketers who have a low amount of videos.
- By simply making a free video, you’ll be seen as an expert in your industry if you know how to do it. If you go onto youtube and sign up, you can choose to be a guru! That’s automatic guru status for you!
- Video marketing is the best way to get people to pay attention to you. Unlike writing, people pay attention to what you have to say if you made a video about it. That’s the truth. More people listen to bloggers with podcasts more than they listen to bloggers with just text. It’s a simple fact.
Video marketing is a great way to gain tons of traffic to your website, and it’s totally free to do. So get out there, and start making some videos!

Make Videos – Use Royalty-Free Stock Video Clips
Posted by: | Comments
In my experience using stock footage clips is helpful in many ways. First of all, it serves to cut your production time simply because it is so much quicker to get hold of some decent royalty free video clips and use these, than making them yourself. Secondly, it serves to reduce your carbon footprint, which is probably not on your mind every day, but still a rather good excuse to use stock videos. Thirdly, it is helpful because you can usually download stock video previews and do the test editing before you decide to make the purchase – which is good both for the creative process and the story-boarding, as well as for communicating with your client. And finally, it is a lot, lot cheaper to buy stock videos for certain segments of your production rather than shooting everything yourself.
In many cases you have to use stock footage, such as when you need historical content or highly unique shots that are ‘one of a kind’ (like the moon landing, the Kennedy assassination or specific natural disasters), or you could have someone animate it, but it would probably not look good in many cases. Apart from using stock footage for historical or unique flair, good uses of stock video clips include use for commercials on TV, information videos, for making transitions from one scene to another – like using an opening stock video shot of Istanbul to place the current scene “somewhere in Istanbul,” to use videos as backgrounds for screens on events, to create videos for the web, to fill gaps in your video where you need a breather – like using a time-lapse of clouds drifting by to create the effect of time passing, or to be able to present actions, content and locations without having to make all the preparations and shots yourself.
Some videographers videos rely solely on buying video footage to make their productions, simply adding graphics and sound, while others rely on stock shots for a specific section. Documentaries and TV-series often rely on the use of stock video, while film productions to a lesser extent use stock footage. In any case, using stock videos makes good sense, and its use will be even more widespread in the years to come.
If you are unfamiliar with the use of stock footage, you should definitely give it a go. You could sign up with a service offering HD stock video clips and download a preview video to do a test edit – this way you get a good feel of the opportunities that are out there, and you can familiarize yourself with the process. Also, by using stock footage you not only save time and money, you also help save the environment, so use stock footage to make videos.
How to Make Videos That Sell
Posted by: | CommentsVideo marketing is a fantastic way to drive traffic to your website and make sales. But, it is sometimes difficult to understand how to make a video that actually sells. So, in this article I want to discuss three ways you can improve your video marketing response by just adding a couple techniques into your videos.
1. The Lower Third
Whenever you produce your videos and upload them to the major video sharing sites, you want to make sure that you always include a lower third in your videos.
A lower third is simply a way to brand your website in the video. All you need to do is add your website link in the lower portion of the video. Here is an example of what I’m talking about. Imagine your video is split into three parts. The first part being your head the second part being your body, and the third part being the lower region of the video.
It is in that third area, the lower region of the video, that you want to put your website address.
Make this visible throughout the entire video. This will greatly increase your chances of getting people to click through and go to your website. Or if there is no way for them to click through they can then remember that website and manually go to it.
2. Your Website Address
Whenever you are doing your video you want to make sure that you say your website address multiple times throughout the video. This is how I like to do it and have been getting really good results with it. When I start the video I state my name and my website address, that is telling them who I am and where I’m from. Then, I will continue with what I need to say. At about the halfway point I will remind them again what websites you go to to get more information
Then, when I am finishing up the article I tell them to go to my website for more information. The very last mention of your website is the most important. You want to make sure that you include a call to action. Don’t simply tell them your website address is so-and-so. You want to make sure that you tell them to go to your website.
3. Do Not Bore the Audience
You want to make sure that you are somewhat entertaining in your videos. The best way to do this is to be quick, concise, and to the point. The faster you speak the more people pay attention to you. I do not know the psychology behind that but it works.
So, whenever you are recording a video you want to make sure that you talk at an above average pace.
There are just just three techniques I use to increase conversions in my videos. You can rearrange your videos in many different ways. So, I would suggest experimenting and figure out what works best for you. The main point here though is that you start. Start making your videos so you can start driving traffic and sales to your websites.
Video Marketing – Why It’s Vital To Your Internet Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsVideo marketing can be known as one of the best ways to bring tons of traffic to your website. In my own video marketing efforts, I bring in more than fifty people to my website a month from just one video that I posted onto one social media website. So why should you start doing video marketing?
Why video marketing is vital to your internet marketing
- Social media websites get more than a million views a day. That means that if you don’t have a video posted up in these social media websites, you’re potentially missing out on more than a million people who could come to your website and buy your products. The people on social media websites will look at your videos, no matter how bad it is, people will view your video. That is a fact!
- People watching your videos will listen to what you have to say. Instead of reading an article and just skipping a few words, people watching your videos will listen to every bit of word you have to say as long as your video is entertaining and it helps out your viewer.
- There are tons of social media sites on the internet that each get around a million website views a day or a month. This kind of traffic can be redirected to your website!
- Videos can be rated and shared. You don’t have to worry if no one can get to your social media website, just get the embedded html and post it somewhere that does use html and boom, now they can watch it from there!
Video marketing is a great way to gain tons of traffic to your website. You just need to know how to use the power of videos correctly and not abuse it. Many choose to abuse the power of video marketing by spamming social media websites, and as a result, they get their account deleted.
